If the engine oil is too much, it will be wasted. How much is the right amount?
The engine oil can play the role of lubrication and wear reduction, auxiliary cooling, sealing and leakage prevention, rust prevention and corrosion prevention, shock absorption and buffering, etc. for the engine. As we all know, if there is less engine oil, we should add it in time. How much should we add? Can you add more?
Don't refuel too much, it will also be bad for the car.
1. Increase fuel consumption. When the oil in the engine cylinder is too full, it will cause more unnecessary resistance to the crankshaft rotation, thus affecting the power output and increasing fuel consumption.
2. Power drop. The amount of oil entering the combustion chamber is greatly increased, which increases the carbon deposit in the combustion chamber, increases the piston motion resistance, and reduces the engine power.
3. Environmental protection is not up to standard. It will worsen the exhaust emissions, seriously affect the service life of the three-way catalyst, and may even directly damage the three-way catalyst.
4. Oil leaks. Reduced oil seal life may cause engine oil leakage.
How much oil is appropriate?
Generally, it is enough to keep the oil level between the low scale and the high scale. Try not to be lower than the middle, because the high temperature of the engine when driving at high speed can make the oil thinner. If the oil volume is small, the lubrication effect will be reduced. A little more in the middle is OK, but do not exceed the upper limit of the dipstick.
